Why stay at an upmarket hotel?

For just US$13 (much less than a modern upmarket hotel), you can stay in a brand new apartment in the heart of Chiangmai.
The location is excellent. You can walk to the mall in 10 minutes, to the river (and hence to the Riverside bar/restaurant - very recommended) in 15 minutes and the old town also in 15 minutes. This is a "ouch, it's hot, I'd better walk slow" pace, too.
The apartment block has 6 floors and 55 apartments; very modern and clean. The entire block looks a few months old as it is a new building. Each apartment has a balcony, very comfy bed, wardrobe, spacious bathroom, and free reliable wireless internet. The shower pressure is great and has 24 hour hot/cold water too. Some places don't provide this. The place is fully air-conditioned too.
I love relaxing in Chiangmai and Loft Residence is simply unbeatable! A great value-for-money!
